Christmas 2019 couldn’t start merrier! For a good cause you walk along with 1574 other Santas (men, women and children)
a pleasant route through the historical heart of Leiden. Along the way you can enjoy for free all kinds of things X-mas
(mulled wine, hot cocoa, fire baskets, brass band, carol choir, etc.). At the end you will receive a commemorative medal.

Subscription includes a complete Santa outfit (yes, beard included), which you can collect in mid-December.
Please bring € 1,- per person to receive a coin to collect your free drink during the walk on 20 December.

We walk (so no running) for the National Kidney Foundation (Nierstichting) and two local Leiden charities.
The Rotary Santa Run Leiden is organised by Rotary Club Leiden de Burcht.

On Friday 20 December:
Assembly and warming up from 17:00u at the skating rink (opp. City Hall).
At six o’clock it’s Ho-Ho-Go for a sea of Santas!
Please bring your ID to the walk, you will receive a stamp, if you are over 21 years,
for a glass of hot Christmas wine or hot chocolate in change of the coin from the pick up days.
If needed you can buy a poncho for € 2,- on the Koornbrug.
Also on the way you can buy a really good ‘kaasfondue broodje’ for € 5,-. It is a small bread with melted cheese inside.
Or some nice presents, food or drinks at the floating Christmas market.
